DESCRIPTION:A workshop exploring Renaissance music of Southern Portugal with Tutor Rory Johnston. \nWe will sing music by Duarte Lobo\, Estevao de Brito\, Estevao Lopes Morago\, Filipe de Magalhaes\, Manuel Cardoso and Pedro de Cristo. This music has a lot in common with Spanish Music of the 16th century\, by composers such as Victoria and Guerrero\, but with a greater indulgence in unprepared dissonances and harmonic movements.
